Who: Australian Hwa Rang Taekwondo Academy
We pride ourselves with our qualified, friendly and Certified Black Belt Instructors to lead our programs on the school grounds.
What: It is a program of sport activity that introduces school aged students to the world of martial arts.
Students learn both soft (mental) and hard (physical) skills to handle a variety of situations. From problem-solving skills used to handle a variety of life directions such as public speaking to situations requiring more physical skills and those requiring focus and self control.
When: Delivered during the school sport day
Where: On school grounds
Certified Black Belt Instructors trained in the delivery of the program will come out to the school and use designated areas assigned by the school. Specific martial training equipment will be supplied and brought to school.
Why: Because it is the best, no nonsense, program on the east coast of Australia being run successfully for the last 40 years.
This Hwarang Sports Program has been created by Mr Mani Kasmani under Grand Master Kim’s guidance. Grand Master Kim who has personally trained Mani for 15 years, celebrates teaching Hwa Rang Taekwondo in Australia for 40 years this year.
Students are taught the 5 tenets of Hwa Rang Taekwondo, which are Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self Control and Indomitable Spirit. They are shown how these tenets can be applied in all aspects of life and why it is in their best interest to use these life long skills within daily situations.
